Overview:
Founded in 2010, Ekya Schools is a chain of progressive K-12 schools in Bangalore, India, offering Kindergarten & Montessori and Grades 1-12 affiliated to CBSE, ICSE and Cambridge IGCSE. With our in-house curriculum, students experience a rich learning journey designed to challenge, engage, and excite. By drawing on the legacy of the CMR Group of Institutions and the innovative, immersive methods of school systems worldwide, the Ekya Schools were instituted with one aim – to teach children not just what to learn but how to learn. Ekya Schools will launch a new chain of K-12 schools known as the “Purpose Based Schools” for the next academic year, 2025-2026. These Purpose-based schools are thematic schools that allow students to specialize in an area of interest from a young age.
The first purpose-based school to launch is Ekya Nava, a school of Innovation, Creativity and Design that aims to empower the next generation of thinkers, innovators, scientists, product leaders, changemakers and technopreneurs. At Nava, we will harness technology and innovation through future forward and hands-on experiential programs to sharpen and transform young minds. Students will learn differently, present their learning and develop a mindset that allows them to identify connections between their specializations and learning areas.
